Is America for Sale? As I listened to the news over the last week; a question was asked as to 1) what brought us here? 2) Did the media perform their job as good whistle blowers? So I began to do a little research; As I began to read various reports, news, insights into a growing crisis as early as 2006 some earlier as 1999, I realized that 1) We brought ourselves to this point and 2) The media did their job of letting us know there was a storm coming. Now, what went wrong in my opinion is that we were too high on the hog and so didn't think such a calamity would befall us. Well we are here and our eyes are no longer "WIDE SHUT" the question is will we see a For Sale sign on the white house lawn? God forbid! And what can we do about it?Well, In the President's own words "let's not begin to stuff our mattresses". What can we do to thwart or rather counteract the ever increasing acquisition of our treasury is to engage in such actions ourselves. America as we know it is apparently undergoing a hostile take-over by foreign entities. Are these entities friend or foe? Only time will tell. But let's not wait for time. Let's start buying back our country dollar for dollar. Things are hard time is tough Yes! However, we would be getting control of our future and not leaving everything to our government to fix. We did it; we got way above our means and refused to listen. Unfortunately, some of us have still not learned! We the People of the United States of America should start to look into ways to regain our country and pride. Not look to point the finger but look to offer a helping hand. Help ourselves get out of debt; Treasury bonds, Take stock in our children's children future. We have wasted ours However; we do not have to throw away theirs. There have been recent cases were families are returning to the fields just to make ends meet, Some of us who have lost jobs are quickly learning and acquiring new skills, don't just sit by haphazardly and wither away into the night. Remember, why America is America and fight to keep it that way.
